Some facts on our method
· All steel used is mostly recycled. We don’t destroy our forests by harvesting timber commonly used in the
construction of homes and roofs.
· Excessive amounts of water are saved with this construction method in comparison to building the brick and mortar
way.
· Due to the high thermal cladding and isolation materials used, less energy is needed in the cooling and heating of
homes, which is crucial taking into consideration the current energy crisis in our country. High sound isolation
factors are also achieved.
· There is a reduction in the spreading of fire’s as most materials used are fire retardant.
· There is huge savings on logistical costs as all materials for an entire house; including all finishes can be
transported with one truckload. This means fewer trucks would be on the road which also contributes in the
reduction of unwanted gasses.
· High levels of accuracy are being achieved due to minimum human intervention in the fabrication process.
· Designs can be made to minimize the amounts of material wastage, which you as owner pay for at the end of the
day.
· Most materials used to construct a “Light Steel Frame” structure are resistant to threats by termites, rodents
etc. Rotting, warping and normal deterioration are now something of the past.
· The whole structure is riveted, screwed or bolted together, which means that it will stay intact for a very long
time.
· Roof screws coming loose after periods of time are almost totally eliminated as both IBR/ Corrugated sheeting
materials and that of the roof structure make use of the same base materials.
· This building method is extremely flexible towards alterations and or enlargements. Building up is no problem,
even if the foundation of existing structure does not permit second or third stories, due to the weight factor of
“Light Steel Framing”.
· You can have a time saving of up to 50% and cost savings up to as much as 30%.
· Due to the easy construction, new skill levels are easily achieved, especially in the uplifting of our people.

The Scottsdale Construction System is being used, which was initially designed for
areas where they experience high volumes of natural disasters.
One of the main focus points is the conservation of our planet, which is why we have sourced the best possible services and methods to ensure a product that has been built to specification without having damaged the environment or abused the available resources.
Light steel frame building systems (LSFB) complies with the rational design requirements of the NHBRC and all of the SANS codes.
We offer building projects such as:
· Schools · Temporary housing · Small, medium & large homes · Site Offices · Bus-shelters · Garden sheds
· Summer houses · Tool sheds · Car ports · Green houses · Ceiling frames · Internal dry-walling
